Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

  • Identification and contact details: name, email, phone number and country.
  • Booking details: dates, number of guests and requests you send us.
  • For guests who are not Portuguese citizens: the identity document details that the law requires us to report to the authorities.
  • Payment details, processed directly by the payment platform. We never see or store your card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and cookies.

Why we use it, and on what basis

  • To manage your booking and your stay (performance of the contract).
  • To meet our legal obligations: reporting foreign guests to the authorities, invoicing and the municipal tourist tax (legal obligation).
  • To talk to you before, during and after your stay (performance of the contract).
  • To send you news and offers, only if you agree (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
  • To keep the website working, secure and to measure how it is used (legitimate interest, and consent for non-essential cookies).

Who we share it with

  • The booking and property management system we use, which hosts this website.
  • The payment platform.
  • Public authorities, where the law requires it, such as the police (for foreign guest registration) and the tax authority.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, always with the safeguards required by the GDPR. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed for your booking, and for the periods required by law (for example, tax documents are kept for 10 years). Marketing consent lasts until you withdraw it.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive it in a portable format, to restrict or object to its use, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.
